Pepper Place, Here I come!

This is going to be a big year for Michelle Leach Pottery.

One of the things that I'm really looking forward to is being a part of Pepper Place Market...eek!!!  Beginning on April 7th, you will find me at Pepper Place on most Saturday mornings.  (Not sure what PPM is? Here's the link http://www.pepperplacemarket.com)
Pepper Place began as farmer's market years ago, but it has evolved into so much more than that.  Not only are there many local farmers at the market, but there are artisans and makers, food and drink vendors, and live music.  Buster and the kiddos and I have frequented the market on Saturday mornings over the last five years.  So it will be cool to be on the other side of the table in April.
A few days ago we had a meeting with all of the 2018 market vendors.  It was really exciting to hear about some of the creative folks who will be at the market in 2018.  I was inspired just being around them.
As one person mentioned on Saturday, the market has become one of Birmingham's best small business incubators.  Many of Birmingham's popular creative concepts and restaurants began at Pepper Place.  Small creative entrepreneurs can come to Pepper Place and test their concepts and assumptions on the market goers.
I guess that is what scares me and excites me the most.  I want to share my pottery with a larger audience, but of course, that is nerve-racking at the same time.
So, Buster and I are thinking through how to decorate my booth and the logistics of it setting it up each week and all.  Don't worry, I'm sure I'll need your help to make decisions about what looks best :)
Can't wait to see many of you at the market on Saturdays!
